Resolved Question: What do you think of my story?

I have started writing a story and would like to have opinion on it. No stupid answers! Also remember I am 13 so it may not be the best thing in the world. It was a cold autumn afternoon. You could see the squirrels rustling in the tall oak trees, while birds were starting to migrate south. The birds were chirping and calling to each other high in the sky, joined in large groups all heading south. There was a very strong smell of dead leaves in the air telling everyone fall was here and winter was coming soon. Rotten fruit littered the streets. Most of it having been nibbled by rodents then left there to slowly rot. Rabbits and chipmunks were all quickly finding and storing any food they could find for the harsh winter to come. In New York the winters were always cold and below freezing almost every day. The local park seemed to get emptier each day with only the occasional person. However there was someone who went to Krutzi Park every day. Celeste would always visit the park with her two dogs, Trixie and Jem. Celeste was twelve year old girl and was very lonely. She had straight jet black hair and eyes the color of sapphires. She was a very pretty girl. She lived with her mom, Tracy, and her dad, Mike. They were a happy family but Celeste couldn’t help but be lonely. She had no friends. She was however super smart and loved reading long chapter books. The reason she had no friends partially had to do with the fact that she was very shy and didn’t seem to get along with most girls. Her only companions were her dogs, Trixie a black and white purebred border collie, and Jem a gold colored Chihuahua Pomeranian mix. But, the outdoors was her most favorite place of all and she always loved being outside. She rather be outside than hang out with an acquaintance. Her mornings were almost always the same. She got up, got ready for school, fed her dogs, and left on the school bus. She loved her parents but they just never seemed to really understand her. So she normally went on through her day with very little contact with her parents. On that particular day though something strange happened to her. Her morning was the same as always. She went to school and the day flew by. She went to math, English, home economics, lunch, science, history, and gym. Always alone and barely talking to any students. Her favorite teacher, Ms Lefer always tried to talk to her because she knew how solitary she was. Ms. Lefer taught science, her favorite subject while her least favorite teacher Ms. Frunte taught her least favorite subject, history. Normally Ms. Frunte always picked on her which was why Celeste hated her. She would never just leave her alone like most of the other teachers and students did. After school Celeste went home and ate lunch. Her mom asked her how her day went and she just simply responded. “Fine”. Like always. Her mom was used to this and never expected anything else from her. After a lunch of tuna casserole she quickly finished her homework and told her mom she was going to the park with Jem and Trixie and would be back in latest two hours. She put on Trixie’s flower patterned leash and Jem’s paw patterned leash and left. She always brought them everywhere and loved having them around. She arrived at the large hilly park a few minutes later and started to walk around the park. Normally she wouldn’t go very far into the park because it was huge and she could easily get lost. However today she felt explorative and decided to venture in a little deeper. She went to the part of the park that only had a couple of benches and decided to sit down for a few minutes. She was peacefully relaxing when Trixie started to get very excited and started to tug Celeste into a random direction. “Calm down Trix!” yelled Celeste. Trixie however wouldn’t stop so she gave in and got up. She let Trixie drag her in the direction she wanted expecting to see her lead her to a dead squirrel. But, she actually led her to a very odd gate. It was as tall as some of the oak trees and was covered in ivy. It was made of a once white metal but had been covered in rust over the years. Jem didn’t seem to like the gate very much but obediently stayed quiet. Celeste was amazed at the beauty of the gate and the fence. She tried to open the gate but it was locked. She would have persisted but she realized it was getting late and turned back home. As she was walking home she thought back to the odd gate. She had never seen it before and couldn’t wait until she actually saw what was behind the gate. She got home and greeted her mom oddly cheerful. Her house was a regular old house. It had two floors and bedrooms. One for her and one for her parents. Both upstairs with one bathroom upstairs as well. Downstairs was the washer room, living room, kitchen, and another bathroom.
